Sustainability

As our name suggests, we are committed to leaving a better world behind for future generations and helping to reduce the effects of climate change.
With more and more emphasis on carbon and the choices we make that impact the future, it’s important we work together and act now, safe in the knowledge that we’re doing the right thing for generations to come.

Design

It all starts with a vision to do better and we know that everyone wants to do the right thing. Knowing your vision from the start is key and allows us to design in the most efficient and cost-effective way to meet your needs.

Build

As well as choosing high-performance building fabrics we also look to leverage our ‘Lean, Green & clean’ ethos by using lean technologies such as LED lighting, daylight controls Innovative green technologies such as solar thermal heating, photovoltaics, wind turbines and Clean

Energy

Throughout the use of the building, it’s important that it’s sustainable in terms of operational costs which is why the use of the ‘Lean, Green & Clean’ technologies along with the way the building is designed is fundamental to achieving NetZero energy consumption.

A Lean, Green & Clean ethos

We believe that thinking ‘Lean, Green & Clean’ as a driver for everything we do should be the starting point in making any decisions in the way we operate. From the way that we design the environments in which we live, work and play to the way that we use them throughout their lifecycle all have an impact on the world we leave behind.

Lean

Lean technologies such as LED lighting, daylight and occupancy sensors, heating and cooling set point control, mixed mode ventilation and mechanical heat recovery ventilation will help in reducing the projects’ energy demand

Green

Green technologies refer to on-site renewable energy systems. When coupled with lean and clean technology solutions as well as improved building fabric, they can help projects reach a Net Zero operational carbon.

Clean

Clean technologies such as ground and air source heat pump, chilled beams and thermal storage would enable the buildings to reduce the electricity demand on the grid even further.
